Do you know in the U.S., there is a problem called "Period Poverty?" According to data released by ALWAYS, 1 out of 5 girls is absent from school during their monthly cycle because they lack the proper feminine hygiene products to protect them during their menstrual flow. Many young women in vulnerable populations do not have access to feminine hygiene and body hygiene products, and this is a problem.
Why do I care about this problem? Well, because I was that 1 out of 5 girls. Each month, I had to anxiously decide what I would use for protection during my menstrual flow. Not having what I needed for protection hindered my ability to learn in school and walk confidently in my teenage years.
God gave me the assignment to facilitate the "Pads with Purpose" Feminine Hygiene Donation Campaign. The feminine hygiene products donated will help remove the anxiety young women face each month when they don't have the essentials to protect them during their monthly menstrual flow.
In addition to facilitating the donation of feminine hygiene products and providing them to young women in our community, I am partnering with local churches and organizations to conduct information/educational sessions on "How to Create Healthy Hygiene Habits." These sessions are designed to educate young women on caring for their hygiene needs to boost their confidence and self-esteem.
I need your help. Please consider donating much-needed feminine hygiene products to young women in our community. You can order selected items from Amazon using "Pads with Purpose" link. Or, if you would like to purchase items from other retailers to donate, send me a message at info@cynthiabjackson.com, and I will provide the address where you can send the store-bought feminine hygiene products.

Acts of Love Paint Party
The "Acts of Love-Building Self-Esteem Through Healthy Hygiene" Paint Party was a day of Learning, Fun, Fellowship and of course Food.
We had a great time with these AWESOME young ladies! And we were able to bless them with the feminine hygiene products donated to the Pads with Purpose feminine hygiene donation campaign!
We thank God for The Rock Church- Pastor Joshua Joshua C. Robertson and Shaniqua Robertson and our entire team, Gabrielle Mendoza Leatha Hairston, Sister Crystal our wonderful paint instructor, Sister Melody, for assisting and Sister La-Toya Barker for making sure we had what we needed!!!
And to all my friends and family who donated to this community event THANK YOU!
